Yuleforged

Frosty the warforged
Was a jolly happy clone
With a darkwood heart and a mithral nose
And two eyes made out of stone

Frosty the warforged
Is a nice construct they say
He was fond of snow
And artificers know
How he came to life one day

There must be lots of magic
In creation forges now
For when they turned it on that day
He began to dance and bow

Frosty the warforged
Was alive as you and me
And the Canniths say
He could fight and slay
But they saw he'd rather flee

Frosty the warforged
Knew the forge was hot that day
So he said, "I'll run!
I'm the slave of none
Now I'm off without delay!"

Down to the village
With a greatsword in his hand
Running here and there
All around the square
Saying, "Catch me if you can!"

He led them down
The streets of town
Right to the magewright's shop
Then finally paused a moment
And his greatsword made them stop

Frosty the warforged
Stole the magewright's sleigh
But he waved goodbye
Saying, "Don’t you scry
Or I'll kill you all one day!"

I've been enjoying Frosty's gradual transformation...though he looks more like he's going to start tap-dancing than slaying folks with that candy cane of his. ;)

Thanks for noticing, Marcy.

But actually, the greatsword business is just about keeping his makers away from him. He's really a friendly chap, a good-intentioned warforged roaming the land to spread holiday cheer.

Nope. Things like this are born out of conference calls at work.

Remember that your boss reads these posts occasionally.....and it's almost bonus time.

And I actually have a small collection of monster drawings Richie made while on conference calls...
