Halloween

Does anyone carve pumpkins anymore? Other than on TV? Well, I suppose the Bronx isn't the best place to gauge current American trends.

In any case, let it never be said that a LaSala (specifically, myself and my wife) does not find some way to celebrate Halloween. It will eternally be both a holiday and an anniversary for us. In this case, two years.

Ali and Cindi made pumpkins. Well, Cindi and her cousin painted theirs, and her older cousin carved a pumpkin. Unfortunately, they did all of this way too early, and now the carved pumpkin which has been sitting outside has begun to rot and probably won't make it until Tuesday. :P

I did that last year. I had a very nice (and very rotted) Jack Skellington-style pumpkin by last Halloween by carving it a week too soon.

Any photos to pass along, though, Darren?
