All the Pale Things Under the Earth
Last night I saw Blackfield as the tail-end of a free admission outdoor festival at Riverside Park in Manhattan. Jewzapalooza, in fact; Blackfield's sole Israeli member was reason enough for the otherwise British-based collaboration to be a part of it, apparently. There's just something about evening concerts when it's not too hot, with very cool prog rock...
On Saturday we went to the Garlic Festival, too. What a riot of flavors that day was!
Escapee episode 21 is up from last week.

Heh...it does seem a bit self-depricating but I suppose it is sorta like the old rule about it's ok for you to insult your mother but not someone else to say the exact same thing...
People are weird. :)
Heh, I didn't realize "jew" was considered an insulting word. I certainly would hate to consider it self-deprecating to call one's self a Jew. If an event were called "Kykefest '05" or "Fagzalot" or "Spicorama", and were an event that celebrated Jewish tradition, Homosexuality, or Hispanic culture, then that would be quite self-deprecating.
I went to "Polapalooza" here in Chicago, and like the event you attended, only one member of the band had to be Polish to be included. Food was good, though.
Well that it certainly is!
